CHICAGO – Last month’s 2013 version of the Wizard World Comic Con in Chicago was a memorable event, with appearances of Marvel Comic’s legend Stan Lee, favorites from the new Star Trek movies, ‘The Man of Steel,’ ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ and TV’s ‘Homeland,’ ‘The Walking Dead’ ‘Heroes’ and ‘Hawaii Five-0.’ HollywoodChicago.com was there to capture Exclusive Portraits.

The Wizard World Comic Con is a yearly event in Chicago, but also has upcoming 2013 events in Columbus, Ohio (September 20-21-22), Nashville, Tennessee (October 18-19-20) and Austin, Texas (November 22-23-24). In 2014, the Wizard World Comic Con expands by seven for a total of 15 events.     CHICAGO – The 1960s were a time of historical social transition. The movements – civil rights, feminist, gay rights – all had roots in that tumultuous decade. The Chicago premiere of Basil Kreimendahl’s “We’re Gonna Be Okay” echoes all of those movements in its characters, and collides them against the October 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.
