CHICAGO – The five broadcast networks have announced their Fall 2013 schedules and so it’s now easy to see them night by night, timeslot by timeslot. Which timeslots seem the most competitive? Do you know what you’re going to watch or schedule in your DVR? Here’s the chart you need to figure it out.

CHICAGO – The CW is shaking things up this Fall, perhaps recognizing that their audience doesn’t care as much what night of the week their shows are on as they’re getting increasingly likely to DVR, download, or stream them. 40% of the net’s line-up is switching nights, moving around three new shows in the mid-section of the week.

CHICAGO – When you’re the #1 network on TV, it must be tempting to stay the course. However, CBS always shakes things up a bit and this year is no different.

CHICAGO – Few shows have fallen as far and as hard as Showtime’s once-brilliant “Dexter”. At the end of season four, the show was at a turning point and I even thought that the exploration of responsibility in season five was creatively strong. Then season six turned to religion but did so in a half-hearted way.

CHICAGO – ABC announced their 2013-14 schedule this morning and revealed an aggressive slate of new programming, including four new comedies and four new dramas. Tuesday nights will be entirely new, anchored by “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”.

CHICAGO – Jack’s back! FOX announced today that Jack Bauer is returning to the network in “24: Live Another Day,” to premiere in Summer 2014 with 12 episodes representing 24 hours. We don’t know much more than that at this point other than Kiefer Sutherland will return, reunited with showrunner Howard Gordon.

CHICAGO – FOX announced their 2013-14 schedule this morning and your favorite shows aren’t going anywhere with several interesting new dramas and comedies to support them. With A-list talent in front of the camera (Seth Green, Andre Braugher, Andy Samber) and behind it (J.J. Abrams, Seth MacFarlane), FOX has an ambitious new slate.

CHICAGO – One of the most anticipated shows of the Fall 2013 season is bound to be “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and the show has a trailer, just released by ABC. We had to share.
