CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on July 29th, 2021, reviewing the new film “Jungle Cruise.” In theaters and streaming on Disney+ Premier Access beginning July 30th.

Dwayne The Rock Johnson portrays Skipper Frank, the proprietor of a “Jungle Cruise” tour – the film is based on a Disney theme park ride – during the World War I era in the Amazon Rain forests. Enter Lily (Emily Blunt), a British scientist who is searching for a Tree of Life, the pedals of which will cure all ills. She brings along her brother McGregor (Jack Whitehall) as fussy comic relief, and the three of them travel downriver in this African- Queen-meets-Indiana-Jones adventure.
