First Official Photo Surfaces From ‘The Twilight Saga’s New Moon’

CHICAGO – USA Today [17] has published the first official photo from the highly anticipated sequel to “Twilight [15],” “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon [18]”. Captured in the photo are Paul (Alex Meraz), Sam (Chaske Spencer), Jared (Bronson Pelletier), and Embry (Kiowa Gordon), otherwise known as “The Wolfpack”.

The Wolfpack join the already-cast Taylor Lautner [13], who returns from the first film as Jacob Black. In “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon,” directed by Chris Weitz [7] and opening on November 20, 2010, Jacob grows closer to Bella (Kristen Stewart) after Edward (Robert Pattinson) runs off.

Other cast members in “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” include Robert Pattinson [11], Kristen Stewart [10], Taylor Lautner [13], Ashley Greene [19], Dakota Fanning [20], and Michael Sheen [21].

“Twilight,” which stars Kristen Stewart [10], Robert Pattinson [11], Ashley Greene [19] and Taylor Lautner from director Catherine Hardwicke, has grossed $178 million domestically. This has put the “New Moon” sequel into production immediately with a November release and adaptations of Stephenie Meyer’s sequels “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn” announced.
