Blu-Ray Review: ‘Sex and the City 2’ Continues to Diminish Legacy of HBO Series
Submitted by BrianTT on October 31, 2010 - 3:24pmCHICAGO – Those of you longing for a film version of “The Sopranos,” “Friends,” or “24” (all of which have been rumored at some point or another), should look no further than “Sex and the City 2,” which was recently released on Blu-Ray and DVD, for a cautionary tale. HBO’s “Sex and the City” was a fantastic comedy but both films based on it have been disastrous. Their only value is for filmmakers to learn what not to do with a creative property.

Submitted by PatrickMcD on May 28, 2010 - 6:01pmCHICAGO – Willie Garson is one busy actor this week. When you portray Stanford Blatch, Carrie Bradshaw’s gay best friend, then the “Sex and the City 2” release will undoubtedly fill up the schedule, including his introduction of the film May 28-30th at the Hollywood Palms Cinema in Naperville, Illinois.
One Sequel Too Many For Sarah Jessica Parker, ‘Sex and the City 2’
Submitted by PatrickMcD on May 27, 2010 - 7:37amCHICAGO – “Sex in the City 2” has very little sex and even less city. That is the least of its sins. This bloated, directionless semi-narrative take the familiar foursome – Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis – into unfamiliar geographic territory, but with no dramatic arc there is simply nothing there.

Blu-Ray Review: Absolutely Awful ‘Did You Hear About the Morgans?’
Submitted by BrianTT on March 17, 2010 - 8:47pmCHICAGO – The title of “Did You Hear About the Morgans?” was almost too easy for critics considering how horrendous this alleged comedy ended up. Yeah, we heard it sucked and the new DVD and Blu-ray release of this stinker only confirms those rumors.

Submitted by HollywoodChicago.com on May 30, 2008 - 1:46amCHICAGO – To its voracious universe of cult-following fans, it feels like a television marathon that spans an entire season. To everyone else who bats an indifferent eye at the religion that is “Sex and the City,” it may surprise you to find that all the glam and glitz has something even for you to learn, too.
