Film Review: Mint Condition! On-Air Review of ‘Wonder Woman 1984’
CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on December 24th, 2020, reviewing the new film “Wonder Woman 1984,” in select theaters and streaming on HBO MAX on December 25th, 2020.
Rating: 5.0/5.0 |
This sequel to the first origin film has Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) in 1984 Washington D.C., where she gets involved with a TV huckster (Pedro Pascal), her co-worker at the Smithsonian (Kristen Wiig) and a magical ancient stone that grants wishes. The price everyone will pay becomes the theme which counteracts the travails of 2020. Merry Christmas, indeed.
