Red-Carpet Video Interviews: ‘Divergent’ Stars Shailene Woodley & Theo James, Author Veronica Roth
CHICAGO – It’s only fitting that part one of this major film franchise would red-carpet premiere in Chicago. After all, “Divergent” was filmed here (along with at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios) and its author Veronica Roth went to high school (Barrington High School) and college (Northwestern University) here. Even more, the plot of the first film takes place entirely within a mysteriously walled-in future version of Chicago.
Before it opens publicly on March 21, 2014 and begins competing with the likes of “The Hunger Games,” HollywoodChicago.com publisher Adam Fendelman hit the red carpet on March 4, 2014 to bring you a front-row seat to the stars and the fan swarm. In this video, Adam speaks with stars Shailene Woodley (“Beatrice ‘Tris’ Prior”), Theo James (“Four”), Ansel Elgort (“Caleb Prior”), Amy Newbold (“Molly Atwood”) and Chicago-based author Veronica Roth. Stay tuned for “Insurgent” in 2015 and “Allegiant” in 2016! Enjoy!
