CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on August 4th, reviewing “Luck,” an animated movie treat featuring the voices of Simon Pegg and Jane Fonda. The film will stream on Apple TV+ beginning August 5th.

Sam (voice of Eva Noblezada) is an 18-year-old foster child, known for her incredible bad luck, who has reached the end of her orphanage stay, even though she is best pals with fellow foster child Hazel (Adelynn Spoon). Now in the real world, her bad luck follows her into a new apartment and job. When she shares some food with a black cat named Bob (Simon Pegg), he drops a lucky penny, which changes Sam’s fortunes. But just like her bad luck, he needs that penny back, and reveals that not only that he can talk, but he lives in the Land of Luck, divided into both good and bad kingdoms. When Sam follows him there, will her bad luck come with her?
