CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on March 31st, reviewing “Morbius,” the latest film in the Sony Spider-Man Universe (SSU), in theaters beginning April 1st.

Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) is established as a victim of a rare and body-wasting blood disease, and has dedicated his difficult life and massive genius to finding a cure, even promising his adopted brother Milo (Matt Smith), who has the same disease, that he would find that cure. After several experiments with bats, an injection does the trick, but turns him into a vampire, who desires human blood to survive. He tries to dissuade his brother from the cure, but Milo is desperate and embraces the transformation, wreaking havoc on the land.
