CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on March 4th, reviewing the new film “Raya and the Last Dragon,” in theaters and available through Disney+ (Premier Access) on March 5th, 2021.

Raya (voice of Kelly Marie Tran) opens the film on a search to save the land of Kumandra, and in flashback we learn an enemy named Druun had caused a division in the land and turned people plus ancient dragons into stone, except one. Raya finds the last dragon named Sisu (Awkwafina) and together they are on a quest to reunite the kingdoms, with the help of an unlikely gang of misfits.
