CHICAGO – “The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare” wants to be “Inglourious Basterds” in the worst way … but Henry Cavill is no Brad Pitt, and Guy Ritchie is no Quentin Tarantino. It’s a featherweight romp about British rogues killing Nazis that’s arch, witty, and completely forgettable. It goes down easy enough, but seems unlikely to inspire the love and devotion it so clearly craves.

CHICAGO – “The Girl Who Wore Freedom,” a documentary created by Christian Taylor, is a film that speaks not only of the celebration of France’s appreciation for the Allies liberation of the country in World War II (beginning with D-Day), but also of the dogged determination of filmmaker Taylor to finish the project and place it in into festival consideration.

CHICAGO – Sunday, November 17th, 2019, will mark a special movie event, which includes a screening of “The Girl Who Wore Freedom,” a documentary by filmmaker Christian Taylor. The event will take place at the Mainstage Theater at Pheasant Run Resort, starting at 1:30pm with a VIP reception.
