TV News: CBS Cancels ‘CSI: Miami,’ ‘Unforgettable,’ ‘Rob,’ Renews ‘CSI: NY’
Submitted by BrianTT on May 13, 2012 - 1:49pmCHICAGO – David Caruso will have to dramatically remove his sunglasses somewhere else. CBS answered a few of the remaining question marks today by officially axing “CSI: Miami,” “Unforgettable,” and “Rob!” They also announced that “CSI: NY” would return.

TV News: ‘Person of Interest,’ ‘Unforgettable’ Given Full Season Orders
Submitted by BrianTT on October 25, 2011 - 3:04pmCHICAGO – As expected, CBS has given back-episode orders to new dramas “Unforgettable” and “Person of Interest,” meaning they’ll be on until at least May 2012. As for whether or not they’ll get second seasons, let the bubble watch begin. Both shows have done well in overall viewers but not as respectably in the key youth demos.
TV News: Tim Allen’s ‘Last Man Standing’ Opens With Strong Ratings
Submitted by BrianTT on October 12, 2011 - 10:41amCHICAGO – Critics may have been cruel but audiences were curious enough to see what Tim Allen’s “Home Improvement” schtick looks like in 2011, sampling the series premiere of ABC’s “Last Man Standing” to the tune of a solid 3.5 rating in the key 18-49 demo. Last year, “No Ordinary Family” opened in the time slot with a 3.2 rating and it’s worth nothing that the baseball game on FOX ate into every other network, especially with younger viewers, so there’s reason to believe that the numbers would have otherwise been higher.
TV Feature: Fall 2011 New Network Series Bubble Watch
Submitted by BrianTT on October 11, 2011 - 1:28pmCHICAGO – It feels like only yesterday that we were naming the most promising shows of 2011 (and would like to point out that our #1 was the first program given a full-season order for just one second).
TV News: ‘New Girl,’ ‘Unforgettable’ Hold Strong Second Week Ratings
Submitted by BrianTT on September 28, 2011 - 10:04amCHICAGO – With new shows, it’s always about week two. How far do you drop from the highly-promoted week one numbers when there aren’t as many ads or reviews to remind viewers you’re on the air? CBS’s “Unforgettable” and FOX’s “New Girl” held strong from their week one numbers while “Glee” continued to slide from year to year.
TV News: New Series ‘New Girl,’ ‘Unforgettable’ Open With Strong Ratings
Submitted by BrianTT on September 21, 2011 - 9:19amCHICAGO – Demographic numbers aren’t in yet and there certainly isn’t a story as huge as Monday night’s ludicrous ratings for “Two and a Half Men,” but we thought you might want to know that FOX’s “New Girl” and CBS’s “Unforgettable” seem to be off to good starts. “Glee” was down in its season premiere while “Ringer” dropped in its second week.
TV Review: CBS’s ‘Unforgettable’ Doesn’t Live Up to Title
Submitted by BrianTT on September 20, 2011 - 10:35amCHICAGO – Despite the best efforts of TV veterans Poppy Montgomery (“Without a Trace”) and Dylan Walsh (“Nip/Tuck”), “Unforgettable” is another dull CBS procedural, a show with some decent characters and a relatively-intriguing premise that is undone by weak writing and a silly presentation. CBS is such a juggernaut that anything can become a hit but it’s hard to believe this one will love up to its title for most viewers.
TV News: CBS Announces Fall Schedule With Changes to Every Night
Submitted by BrianTT on May 18, 2011 - 11:24amCHICAGO – What do you do when your iron grip on success is getting weaker? Shake things up. That’s what CBS is doing this Fall by shuffling their line-up more significantly than any other network and adding five new series, which are detailed below.
