Death Cab For Cutie’s ‘Equinox’ to Be First Single From ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’

CHICAGOMTV has confirmed that the first single from the “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” soundtrack will be Death Cab For Cutie’s “Meet Me on the Equinox.” The song will debut exclusively on MTV’s website on the day of the MTV Video Music Awards, September 13th, 2009.

CHICAGO – Beyonce and Lady GaGa led the way when the nominees were announced this morning for the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards with nine nominations apiece, according to People Magazine. They were both nominated for video of the year and best female video. Other major nominees include Eminem, Kanye West, Drake, and Britney Spears
