CHICAGO – Ten years ago, an Independent film was released in Chicago, co-written and co-directed by Richard Knight Jr., an entertainment fixture in the Windy City. “Scrooge & Marley” offered a bit more than the previous versions of the familiar “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens, it was the first to filter the story through same sex coupling and LGBTQ+ themes. A new staged version of the film, complete with the featured songs, will be presented at Chicago’s Center on Halsted on December 12th, 2022, at 7pm. ROCKFORD, ILL. – It’s time for the classic film “A League of Their Own” to go back to their roots … Rockford, Illinois, home of the old timey woman’s baseball team the Rockford Peaches. To celebrate the NEW Prime Video series adaptation of “League,” and the 30th anniversary of the film, Prime Video will be premiering the series in a special Rockford screening on July 2nd, 2022.

CHICAGO – It was an Opening Night celebration at the 36th REELING LGBTQ+ International Film Festival on September 20th, 2018. The opener was the screwball comedy “Freelancers Anonymous,” and walking the Red Carpet was director Sonia Sebastián, writer/lead actor Lisa Cordileone, producer Eugene Sun Park and cast members Natasha Negovanlis, Megan Cavanaugh and Cassandra Blair.
