He stars as the title character in “Rifkin’s Festival, opening January 28th, 2022.

Film Fest Preview: Chicago’s LGBTQ+ Reeling39, Sep. 23-Oct. 3, 2021

CHICAGO – The 39th edition of the REELING International LBGTQ+ Film Festival kicks off on September 23rd, 2021, offering 33 feature films and nine short film programs. Film News: Reeling 31, Chicago’s LGBT International Film Festival, Opens With ‘G.B.F.’

CHICAGO – The second oldest LGBT Film Festival is right here is Chicago, loud and proud, as “Reeling 31” has its opening night on November 7th at Chicago’s Music Box Theatre. And what better film to open the festivities than “G.B.F.” – which of course stands for “Gay Best Friend” – directed by Darren Stein (“Jawbreaker”) and featuring Megan Mullally, Horatio Sanz and Natasha Lyonne.

CHICAGO – When a company makes a commitment to a cause, the way that they follow through speaks volumes about that commitment. Kit Crawford, the co-owner/CEO of the company that makes LUNA Bars, has brought in her passion of the arts through LUNAFEST, a film festival featuring women filmmakers and the donation of its proceeds to women’s causes. It was in Chicago on November 17th.
