CHICAGO – “The Class,” a film with strong Chicagoland ties – both in the past and present – will have a one-night-only premiere at Chicago’s iconic Music Box Theatre on September 8th, 2022 (7pm). Select stars and production crew will attend, and all the deets are available by clicking THE CLASS.

CHICAGO – In a Covid-free world no doubt this list would be a TOP 20 or 25 … in non-pandemic times, I photographed approximately 150 celebrities per year. In 2020, there were only two, before the global pandemic basically put my career – like that of so many others – into a medically induced coma.

CHICAGO – One of the more high profile local film productions this summer was “The Class.” The film essentially reunites Anthony Michael Hall of “The Breakfast Club” with John Hughes-land, and brings him back to high school … this time as the assistant principal. “The Class” was written and directed by Nick Celozzi.

The focus of ‘A Night with Anthony Michael Hall.’

CHICAGO – There was a double celebration at The Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove (Illinois) on July 26th, 2021. First, the cast and director of “The Class” – now in production in Chicagoland – gathered to support their co-star.

CHICAGO – The theme song for “The Breakfast Club” is “Don’t You Forget About Me,” and there is no way to forget iconic actor Anthony Michael Hall. After a blazing number of 1980s classics as a teenager, Hall is back in “John Hughes Land” AKA Chicagoland, currently filming here for “The Class.”

CHICAGO – They’ll be turning back the clock tomorrow night (July 26, 2021) in Downers Grove (Illinois) as iconic 1980s actor Anthony Michael Hall will make an appearance at the Tivoli Theatre introducing “The Breakfast Club” and doing a Q&A. Instead of joining “The Breakfast Club,” he will portray an assistant principal responsible for monitoring a new generation.

CHICAGO – Debbie Gibson was the youngest recording artist – at 17 years old – to write, produce and perform a number one hit (“Foolish Beat” in 1988), and her songs were the soundtrack to that era’s teen generation. Barbara Eden of ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ still enchants.

CHICAGO – Every fall in the Chicagoland area, it’s “The Hollywood Show.” This annual event showcases celebrities from TV and film, both current and from the nostalgic past, greeting fans and signing autographs. The September of 2013 show featured “I Dream of Jeannie” TV show personalities Barbara Eden and Bill Daily, plus notable cast reunions of TV’s “My Three Sons” and the 1973 film version of “Jesus Christ Superstar.”

CHICAGO – Who would volunteer to go on national television and be ridiculed and demeaned by not only an egotistical blowhard like Donald Trump but his two children (who, for the record, I like significantly more than dear old dad)? I understand the desire to get back in the public spotlight but at so high a cost?
