Video Game Review: ‘Bioshock: Infinite’ Reaches for Brass Ring

CHICAGO – I played the first “Bioshock” about a year after release and managed to avoid all the spoilers. What an experience that was. A deconstruction of game linearity wrapped in a beautiful, decaying, underground once-utopia that brought ideas and philosophy to the table, in addition to a huge arsenal of weapons and special powers - plasmids.

CHICAGO – Irrational Games just sent over the first five gameplay screenshots from “Bioshock Infinite,” the highly-anticipated third installment in the franchise that includes the mega-hits “Bioshock” and “Bioshock 2.” The game may not be releasing until 2012 but we have the first amazing pics now.

CHICAGO – It’s time to dive back into the world of Rapture, the setting of one of the most anticipated releases of 2010, “Bioshock 2,” the sequel to 2007’s game of the year. Wildly entertaining without being particularly groundbreaking, “Bioshock 2” could be considered a slight disappointment when compared to the first game, but then again so could most titles.
