CHICAGO – After a few weeks of rumors that indicated the marriage between Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher was coming to an end, papers have been filed officially ending the relationship. Demi Moore (49) filed for divorce from her husband of six years, Ashton Kutcher (33), this afternoon.

CHICAGO – Well, that was predictable. As expected, audiences were curious about how “Two and a Half Men” would handle the departure of Charlie Sheen and the arrival of Ashton Kutcher. The most important demo numbers aren’t in yet but the overall household ratings (the first numbers released) were ludicrously high with season premiere numbers for the CBS hit that doubled last year’s first episode.

After weeks of playing the guessing game as to who would replace Charlie Sheen on CBS’s hit comedy “Two and a Half Men,” former TV star and current movie star Ashton Kutcher has been revealed as the “winning” man by The Hollywood Reporter. While journalists pestered John Stamos, Jeremy Piven, and even Hugh Grant, among many others, Kutcher was very quietly inking the deal that will surely be made official at next week’s CBS upfronts.

CHICAGO – I have become nearly exhausted by writing reviews about the modern decline of the romantic comedy, the genre most in need of a complete overhaul. Most of them nowadays are horrendous. So, no one is more surprised than this critic to say that “No Strings Attached” with Ashton Kutcher & Natalie Portman, now available on Blu-ray and DVD, isn’t bad. It’s no genre classic, but it’s an enjoyable comedy on a Saturday night.

Watching it on Blu-ray, I was surprised that it didn’t screen because it’s not “Marmaduke”- or “Macgruber”-bad. It’s just shockingly boring.
