Here is the “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief” plot description:

It’s the 21st century, but the gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters have walked out of the pages of high school student Percy Jackson’s Greek mythology texts and into his life. And they’re not happy. Zeus’ lightning bolt has been stolen and Percy is the prime suspect. Even more troubling is the sudden disappearance of Percy’s mother.

As Percy adapts to his newly discovered status as a demi-god (his father is Poseidon), he finds himself caught between the battling titans of Mount Olympus. He and his friends embark on a cross-country adventure to catch the true lightning thief, save Percy’s mom and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

Ares

Well of course, Zeus is the greatest but I will post my personal next favorite: Ares.

Ares is the son of Zeus and Hera, but neither of them have much sympathy for his activities. The symbol of Ares is often held to be a dog and a vulture. Ares was often also accompanied by several other Gods into battle. They were Deimos and Phobos (the spirits of terror and fear), his sister Enyo (the Goddess of bloodshed), and Alala, whose name became his battle war-cry.

Sure he was out of control but you have to hand it to a rebel to stir the pot once and again. Where would we all be if everyone of us conformed to the state of affairs?

The Greatest Greek God

Enough with the history lessons. For the greatest you need to get into the twentieth century to find Aristotelis Savalas. The world outside of Olympus knows him as Telly Savalas. From “Birdman of Alcatraz” through “Dirty Dozen” and “Kelly’s Heroes” to “Kojak”. No lightning bolt tosser can beat this Greek God of Suave.

Zeus Rules

Zeus is the greatest Greek God of all time. In addition to be being the leader, he is the most powerful, his weapon is the lightning bolt and because he can transform himself into cool things such as a shower of gold etc. Zeus Rocks!
