Here is the “Motherhood” plot description:
From writer and director Katherine Dieckmann (the acclaimed filmmaker of “Diggers” and “A Good Baby”) comes “Motherhood,” which stars Uma Thurman, Anthony Edwards and Minnie Driver.
Shot entirely on location in New York’s West Village, this comedy distills the dilemmas of the maternal state – marriage, work, self and not necessarily in that order – into the trials and tribulations of one pivotal day.
Equal parts Mrs. Dalloway and “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Motherhood” forms a genre of one. No other movie has dedicated itself in quite this way to probing exactly what it takes to be a mother with both wry humor and an acute sense of authenticity.
“Motherhood,” which is a humorous and poignant look at the daily challenges mothers everywhere face, is a hymn to the trials and joys of raising children and the necessity of not losing yourself in the process.

Motherhood
I never was a mother to humans. But over the last 20 years, I’ve cared for about 12 cats (not all at the same time). I currently have four.
Biggest Blessings and Burdens
The biggest blessings are you get taken to brunch on Mother’s Day and you have little people to help with chores. The biggest burdens are expelling a person through the birth canal and changing diapers.

Blessings: The little hands around you neck with a wet, sloppy kiss on the cheek while they profess their love for you.
Burdens: You have no money in your bank account because you spent it on your kid.
B's & B's
My mom would have said there are no burdens, only blessings. I have yet to find that out.

Blessing and Burden of Motherhood
Blessing is creating a work of art, burden is the responsibility of another human being.
Blessings & Burdens
I believe the blessings of being a mother would be helping to shape someone’s life, if you have the kid yourself or adopt, also having someone who counts on you and that will be there for you. Burdens would be having to punish and do things you do not like, however, in the end it is all a blessing.

I think seeing your little ones grow up would be a blessing, but having them grow up during these times would be a big burden.
