Transformers taught me some good values

Much like the other posts, I had some of the action figures. My favorite by far was the Optimus Prime. I would play with it almost every night. There were occasions where I would drive the semi around the house and imitate Prime’s voice and trasform with him.

Overall, the show was what really stands out. It taught kids morals such as honor, trust, friendship, and courage. Sounds corny, but the Transformers were truly good superheroes and easily a bunch I could get behind.

Transformers

Does anybody remember the cool robot toy, Mr. Machine? If you’re old enough, like me, you will. Transformers is a really, really cool updated CGI version of a really, really cool flashback from my past.

Biggest Fan

Maximus Prime has been a hero to me since my brother & I played w/the figures when we were younger.
The stars are very good too. It’s nice to see something VINTAGE become popular again.
I saw the first one then brought the family back to see it together.

Transformers Fan

From the time I was a baby I’ve always been into Transformers. I still have all my Transformers from a child packed and saved in a 10 gallon rubbermaid box.

I really like McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys probably the best. haha. They use to have Mcnuggets, french fries, sodas and hamburgers turn into various Transformers. I definnetly have all of these stored and can’t wait to share with my children some day.

It is really cool that Transformers has return to the big screen. I have a 10 and 12 year old brothers that are getting into Transformers thanks to Michael Bay. It’s always fun to see my childhood memories being relived through them. Whether it be the toys, cartoon series and now the films. My favorite series growing up was def. Beast Wars. I liked the story spin off as animals and the use of computer animation. I made sure I woke up an hour early to watch before school.

Just this week I saw the ShoWest clip!! OMG!!! I made sure to show my little bros. We can’t wait for this summer. I would really love to take one of my brothers to experience a once in a lifetime chance to see screening of Transformers 2 in IMAX and possibly with Shia and Megan.

Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen

After watching the Newest Preview of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen prior to Viewing X-Men Origins: Wolverine, my first thought that came to mind… JUST MORE OF THE SAME!

A recent website (www.tfw2005.com) announced that Isabel Lucas’ roll in the next installment of the Transformers Franchise is as a ‘Pretender.’ For those of you not familiar with Transformers sub-lines from the 80s’ and 90’s, ‘Pretenders’ are Transformers that are hidden inside a shell (human-like or any like for that matter) that acts as their disguise. In the case of Alice, played by Isabel Lucas, the shell will be an attractive human woman while the inner robot is best described as a hybrid of the ‘Frenzy’ Robot design from the first movie. Sounds to me a bit like Terminator 3 (Female Terminator played by Kristanna Loken).

Sounds like Michael Bay maybe shooting TOO FAR to please even the BIGGEST FAN.

As I’ve said before from the www.ComingSoon.net Article titled “Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen,” (PAGE 49, COMMENT 11),(PAGE 56, COMMENT 3),and (PAGE 62, COMMENT 5)

I grew up in the 80’s watching and playing Transformers for that entire decade, and I loved it, even the Cartoon Movie was Amazing. I even saw the Live Action Transformers Movie, twice in theaters, BUT… I have to say that I have lost all interest from the Live Action Movie and feel that it could have been done even better. I know some of you say, “Well thats why there is going to be a Transformers 2 : Revenge of the Fallen. Just keep an open mind about this. It will be Transformers 2 : OVERKILL. The last movie that Michael Bay has Directed that was good, all around was Armageddon. Forget ‘The Island,’ ‘Pearl Harbor,’ or even ‘Transformers’ itself. The action was a mess and there was no clearity to what was happening. Megan Fox is a FOX, BUT thats it, she cannot act in any movie that she is in, she is just as Overrated as Shia Labeouf. The only person from Transformers that has any acting Talent was John Turturro. Every Decepticon and Autobot that LIVED from the first film will return along with a few NEW ONES and some, sort of OLD ONES as well. If you saw Bad Boys and then Bad Boys II, you will see the effort it took to try and make a better film, an actual Sequel. BUT trust me, it will be Over Done with terrible acting and the special effects will not look so special. Tranformers didn’t win an Acadamy Award in 2008 for ANY Special Effects or Editing Category, this is the industry telling you that it was not as good as YOU thought it was. Bourne Ultimatum had a better story line and Special Effects. If Michael Bay wants respect, then he should seek help from the Nolan Brothers.

I have a pretty strong feeling, Michael Bay is going to disappoint a lot of fans and turn a lot of you away after this one comes out.

2009’s BIGGEST movie will be, I believe, one of these movies, Christian Bale’s next epic TERMINATOR SALVATIONS (Which does look Awesome) also Co-written by Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Director). The 6th installment of Harry Potter, HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE, Hugh Jackman’s X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE.

Trust Me, once people go out and see the next installment of TRANSFOMERS 2 : Revenge of the Fallen, people will pass the word around that this one was a DUD, and not a HIT.
