Taylor Lautner in New Moon

Seriously guys? Despite how many comments you post, no one in the film industry really is going to take that into account. They are going to cast who will make them the most money. Look at it this way: summit is pretty much guaranteed that the “diehard fans,” despite not agreeing with the actor choice, will see the movie. The twilight series’ main appeal to the unfamiliar public is Rpatz, and new moon, as it is, is going to have less of him (as we all know), so they need someone that’s going to grab the attention of people who don’t already know about the story. This may or may not come in the form of Taylor. If they can somehow manage to transform him into a super hot older guy, than sure, it would be a good choice on the summit’s part. If they can’t, well, if i had never of new moon before, I probably wouldn’t be too motivated by the fact that the “main hunk” is a sixteen-year-old playing the role of a twenty-five-year-old.

shutup

this is for ppl to post there opinions and hope that it does have some affect ..that someone may come across the many sites that have petitions in this matter.

Steven Strait or Micheal C. for Jacob black's picture

New Moon

you all should calm down.
What amazing job did Taylor?
He had like 4, 5 appearens in the whole movie.
He appeared more in promo spots and pictures then in the movie.
Phisicly he cant be Jacob black.
And what about that he deserves the role? Everybody deserves it but some actor have pride, and not like him, crying and beging.
I understand that you all are little 12, or 13 years screaming girls, but the movie must go on like the story does.
And his phisical transformation is a big part of it.
Becouse Jacobs character changes too with his body.

(sorry for my bed english)

Yes, your English, grammar,

Yes, your English, grammar, and knowledge of the Twilight world does seem to be in need of improvement. Clearly, you are unaware of the numerous adult fans of the movie. I’m in my twenties.

I WILL BE EXTREMELY UPSET IF

I WILL BE EXTREMELY UPSET IF TAYLOR LAUTNER DOESNT REMAIN JACOB BLACK
I BELIEVE THAT IF ANY CHARACTERS END UP BEING CHANGED IT SHOULDNT BE ANY OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS, I THINK ALL THE MAIN CHARACTERS DID A GREAT JOB AND FIT PORTRAYED THEIR ROLES PERFECTLY
PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ KEEP TAYLOR LAUTNER

Jacob Black

Taylor Lautner wasn’t even in Twilight enough to be missed. If nothing was said by the time New Moon came out no one would even notice or care that Taylor was replaced. And how stupid would it look to those who read New Moon to see Jacob’s played by some one that didn’t fit the description as Jacob in the book. Taylor may have fit the description good for the whole 10 min’s he was seen in Twilight But he would not fit a good charter for Jacob in New Moon due to his size now. It doesn’t matter how hard he worked he doesn’t fit the description than he should play the role. Why is everyone making a big deal over nothing?!?
How about we all just be excited that New Moon is coming out!

Character Descriptions

There’s 2 or 3 Cullen characters that don’t fit their descriptions in the books. Should they be replaced?

Anto's picture

I don’tknow who 2 or 3

I don’tknow who 2 or 3 cullen you said don’t fit with the descriptions, but I’m sure that nikky reed as rosalie is one of them, I used to imagine rosalie as a tiny model, really slim and tall..but now, all of us think in her when is about rosalie, now she shouldn’t be replaced, as Taylor,I imagine Jacob like him, but I don’t know..
