Jimmy (Jason Segel) is a therapist … thus the title “Shrinking” … who needs to heal himself, from the grief of the sudden death of his wife. He’s now raising his daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell), who is distant from him in her own grief. Meanwhile at work, Jimmy starts to interact with his patients to the point of crossing a personal line, which causes clashes with his boss Dr. Paul (Harrison Ford, if you can believe it).
