Tucker became a country star at age 13 in 1972, and managed to keep her audience all the way to adulthood, even as she melted down in a series of bad relationships, and practiced an outlaw image. She never really went away … having several hits in the 1990s, but when her parents died in 2001 she stopped recording, but Carlile loves her and gets her back on top.
