On-Air TV Review: The Best Things in Life are Free in ‘Loot’
CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on The Eddie Volkman Show with Hannah B on WSSR-FM (Star 96.7 Joliet, Illinois) on August 5th, reviewing the TV series “Loot,” featuring Maya Rudolph. Currently on Apple TV+ with the 9th of ten episodes available to stream today.
Television Rating: 4.0/5.0 |
Maya Rudolph is Molly Novak, a woman … through her divorce … becomes the second richest billionaire on earth, with Adam Scott as her Bill-Gates type ex-hubby. Molly decides that she will become a day-to-day worker at the couple’s foundation. This is run by the no nonsense Sofia (Michaela Jae Rodriquez), and sitcom types like Howard the overzealous IT man (Ron Funches), lovelorn accountant Arthur (Nat Faxon) and Molly’s frenetic assistant Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster).
