CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on “The Morning Mess” with Scott Thompson on WBGR-FM (Monroe, Wisconsin) on June 16, reviewing “Lightyear,” the latest Pixar Animation film spun off from the Toy Story Universe. In theaters beginning June 17th.

This is the story of Buzz Lightyear (voice of Chris Evans) and his adventure, as his starship crew is marooned on a strange planet. He is determined to get them off the rock, so after a year his mission leader Alisha (Uzo Aruba) builds an infrastructure to begin test flights. When Buzz does over 23 of them, due to the theory of relativity everybody ages four years for each test. The only ones still alive as the flight is finally successful is his robot cat SOX (Peter Sohn) and the second generation citizens of Star Command … including Alisha’s granddaughter Izzy (Keke Palmer), Mo (Taika Waititi) and ex-con Darby (Dale Soles). Can this rag-tag group save the planet from the evil robot master Zurg (James Brolin)?
