Dwayne The Rock Johnson portrays Skipper Frank, the proprietor of a “Jungle Cruise” tour – the film is based on a Disney theme park ride – during the World War I era in the Amazon Rain forests. Enter Lily (Emily Blunt), a British scientist who is searching for a Tree of Life, the pedals of which will cure all ills. She brings along her brother McGregor (Jack Whitehall) as fussy comic relief, and the three of them travel downriver in this African- Queen-meets-Indiana-Jones adventure.

“Jungle Cruise” opens in theaters and streaming on Disney+ Premier Access beginning July 30th.. Featuring Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Jack Whitehall, Edgar Ramírez, Jesse Plemons and Paul Giamatti. Screenplay by Michael Green, Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. Rated “PG-13”
