CHICAGO – In another strong sign that the pandemic is lessening its grip, the historic Music Box Theatre of Chicago will reopen to the general public on Friday, February 26th, 2021. The premiere film will be “Night of the Kings,” written and directed by Philippe Lacote. The Music Box Theatre also ramped up their online and at-home offerings last month with the new “Music Box Direct.” For the first time, customers will be able to watch their Virtual Cinema rentals both online AND on their television screens (via Roku and other apps). Music Box Direct will also offer curated playlists of films and episodic television that will be available to rent or purchase.
