Film News: 4th Annual Shortcut 100 International Film Festival in Chicago on Oct. 8, 2016

CHICAGO – The Shortcut 100 International Film Festival, presented by Nebula Creatives, is now in its fourth year, and gaining momentum as one of the premiere short film festivals in Chicago. The one day short film fest is Saturday, October 8th, 2016, and will take place at The Throne Room in Chicago, from 5pm to 8pm.

The 2016 Official Selections line-up has been set, and will feature “Dreamkeeper” (USA), “Wait I’m a Racist” (USA, Chicagoland), “ A Bumpy Ride” (USA), “Sweet Tooth” (Australia), “The Purple Girl” (USA), “Chatroom” (USA, Chicago…produced and directed by Emily Bennett), “An Animated Guy” (New Zealand, with Jemaine Clement of “Flight of the Concords”), “Awakening” (Finland), “Money Time” (France), and “Johnny’s Shoes” (USA, Chicago). The evening begins with a reception, then the screenings, a vote count and an after party.
