CHICAGOTV By the Numbers reports that ABC has given a thumbs up to a second season of Shonda Rhimes’ “Scandal” while also deciding that “Desperate Housewives” clone “GCB” was never going to find an audience and showing it the door.

This leaves only a few questions left for the ABC Fall schedule as the fate of “Private Practice,” “Body of Proof,” “Last Man Standing,” “Missing,” “The River,” and “Don’t Trust the B—— in Apt. 23” remains unknown. Our predictions are that “Private” and “Standing” will be the only two of the remaining candidates to return.

Come back next week when all five of the networks announce their Fall schedules.
