TV News: FOX Renews ‘Touch,’ Cancels ‘Alcatraz’

CHICAGO – Good news, bad news for fans of FOX dramas. To no one’s surprise, FOX has pulled the plug on their highly-promoted “Alcatraz” as ratings plummeted throughout the season. A little more surprisingly, they’ve decided to give “Touch” with Kiefer Sutherland more time to find an audience.

This leaves almost no question marks on the network as these dramas were the final major decisions left for the executives. Now it comes down to when to air their slate of renewed shows, which includes “Glee,” “Raising Hope,” “Bones,” “Fringe,” “New Girl,” and their Sunday “Animation Domination.” A little shuffling might do this network some good.

In other news, the network has officially canceled “The Finder.”
