Here is the synopsis for “Act of Valor”:
An unprecedented blend of real-life heroism and original filmmaking, “Act of Valor” stars a group of active-duty U.S. Navy SEALs in a powerful story of contemporary global anti-terrorism. Inspired by true events, the film combines stunning combat sequences, up-to-the-minute battlefield technology and heart-pumping emotion.
“Act of Valor” takes audiences deep into the secretive world of the most elite, highly trained group of warriors in the modern world. When the rescue of a kidnapped CIA operative leads to the discovery of a deadly terrorist plot against the U.S., SEALs are dispatched on a worldwide manhunt. As the valiant men of Bandito Platoon race to stop a coordinated attack that could kill and wound thousands of American civilians, they must balance their commitment to country, team and their families back home.
Each time they accomplish their mission, a new piece of intelligence reveals another shocking twist to the deadly terror plot, which stretches from Chechnya to the Philippines and from the Ukraine to Somalia. The widening operation sends the SEALs across the globe as they track the terrorist ring to the U.S./Mexico border. There, they engage in an epic fire fight with an outcome that has potentially unimaginable consequences for the future of America.

Heroic
I wish i was heroic. but i know i am not, i also believe you can be a hero without going out of your way! i have personally talked with people and stopped them from suicide before, but as far as heroism, its all in the eyes of the beholder
Heroic thing?
During our trip to PR, I saved one of my friends who was about to get bit by a snake. With my previous exp. handling snakes, I was relatively at much less risk taking charge of the situation.

Most Herioc Thing I Have Ever Done
Been true to myself and been their for my two parents to the end who both recently passed away 4 months apart to the day. I am a GIVER not a TAKER and have been that way my entire life. The list is too long for words. Deep in my heart, I feel better when giving than taking.
Most heroic thing Ive done
Where I work in our warehouse, sometimes we use ladders to bring down boxes. I managed to help someone from falling off their ladder by managing to see them starting to lose their balance and hold on to the ladder, while placing my hand behind their back. I also told them to not worry about the boxes as many fell to our sides. I then told them material stuff come and go, our lives need the most protecting, if anything.
Most Herioc Thing I Have Ever Done
I volunteer my own “build-a-computer” services at home, fix really outdated PCs, ship several times a year, to a 3rd world country-Philippines, to a non-technology grade school in remote areas, and visit later in the year the school anonymously as “3rd party tourist,” …simple satisfaction watching poor children enjoying something we take for granted here in the US. Speaking up
When I was in college, there were racist comments made between my floormates in my dorm. As time went on, the statements got worst. I had enough, I sat the two parties down and talked things through. It was sad to see how much we ALL didn’t understand about each other, but it was brave to step into something that could have potentially gotten worst.
