Here is the plot description for “Crazy, Stupid, Love.”:
At 40 something, straight-laced Cal Weaver (Steve Carell) is living the dream: a good job, nice house, great kids and marriage to his high school sweetheart. But when Cal learns that his wife, Emily (Julianne Moore), has cheated on him and wants a divorce, his “perfect” life quickly unravels.
In today’s single world, Cal – who hasn’t dated in decades – stands out as the epitome of unsmooth. Spending his free evenings sulking alone at a local bar, the hapless Cal is taken on as wingman and protégé to handsome lothario Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling). In an effort to help Cal get over his wife and start living his life, Jacob opens Cal’s eyes to the many options before him: flirty women, manly drinks and a sense of style that can’t be found at Supercuts or The Gap.
But Cal and Emily aren’t the only ones looking for love in what might be all the wrong places. Cal’s 13-year-old son, Robbie (Jonah Bobo), is in love with his 17-year-old babysitter, Jessica (Analeigh Tipton), who harbors a major crush of her own… on Cal.
And even Jacob’s new-woman-every-night modus operandi is challenged when he tries his best lines on Hannah (Emma Stone): a girl he just can’t seem to get out of his mind perhaps because she’s the first woman he’s ever met who doesn’t think this professional player has any game.

Hmmmm
It’s better to love and lose because life is about always learning new lessons and growing from those situations.
Love and Lost
It is much better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.
better to love
It is better to love because then you’d learn from the experience and grow.
love
its better to love and lose. be able to experience love eclipses the aftermath.
loved
It is better to at least have had that feeling! even though you will strive to have it again…it gives you something to live for, to know its out there….with happiness comes hurt.
I believe it’s better to
I believe it’s better to love and lose. Why? Simply because the feeling of “love” is (generally) very unique and not to mention uncommon. Therefore I’d rather take the risk of falling in love unlike, say, never feeling it in the first place. Sure, it WILL hurt later on. But then again; you will learn something and also — as cliche as it sounds — you will feel better and stronger afterwards. Losing = making mistakes = steps to becoming a better person ultimately.
Is it better to love and lose or would you never love so you’re
To never know love would suck. Look at what happens to babies that are never adopted for example.
that’s a tough one…. it
that’s a tough one…. it depends how bad the loss was.
You gotta feel all emotion
You gotta feel all emotion (the good and the bad) otherwise youre living life as a robot.
