What it takes 2 b a good parent

To be a good parent, it’s important to be a good listener & a fair (but stern) disciplinarian.

What does it take to be a good parent?

To be good at anything in life requires a strong determined desire, along with a
dedicated concern to put forth our best efforts, trying to achieve the best results. But,it doesn’t stop just there,we must also try to gain as much knowledge about how to become our best. We must try to understand, learn, make sacrifices, focusing on our Children’s needs, recognizing what their priorities are.Without us trying to acquire needed skills to become our best,we increase our chances to achieve undesirable results. So, we must seek Spiritual,Professional, along with other successful parenting guidance, support, and help. Our Hearts, emotions, feelings, and thoughts must be directed on a proper path for us to follow. We must want to give, then give our devoted unconditional, sacrificial, unselfish love, mixed together with good old fashion hard work.To relentlessly pursuit to become the good parent. We must take on all the responsibilities needed. We must always try to be available for our child’s guidance,to give them all the love, with all our physical, emotional support. We must also monitor our own abilities, emotions, and our behavior/s. Then try to set out to be the best example for them to follow. We must give encouragement, acknowledgement, keep an open ear to our child’s voice. When errors occur a parent must quickly try to correct them.
In the end we must try to teach our children how to overcome their own obstacles. To become self motivated, self disciplined, self conscientious, and
self righteous. To monitor their own behaviors, actions,to make their own decisions,to be able to choose, recognize what their best options are.
To be able to overcome hardships, correct their mistakes.Be determined to live a
useful, purposeful life. Seeking to be the best moral person possible. Not just for themselves, but for others as well.Only then would I feel that I was as good a good parent.
