Here is the plot description for “The Next Three Days”:
Life seems perfect for John Brennan until his wife, Lara, is arrested for a murder she says she didn’t commit. Three years into her sentence, John is struggling to hold his family together. He’s raising their son and teaching at college while he pursues every means available to prove her innocence.
With the rejection of their final appeal, Lara becomes suicidal and John decides there is only one possible, bearable solution: to break his wife out of prison. Refusing to be deterred by impossible odds or his own inexperience, John devises an elaborate escape plot and plunges into a dangerous and unfamiliar world. He ultimately risks everything for the woman he loves.

Help out someone in need
Fed someone hungry once
courageous
I helped a friend put out a house fire.
I once helped someone move
I once helped someone move for 13 hours. I was exhausted for days.
Well
I put my life on hold to take care of my ailing mother and signed the papers to let her die when it was apparent that she was not going to live.
Defended a Stranger
I came to the defense of a stranger who was under attack and put myself in harms way. Fortunately we both were unscathed when it was all over. But I felt good about helping a stranger in need.
I jumped into Lake Michigan
I jumped into Lake Michigan after a drunk friend who was struggling to swim
The Next Three Days
The most courageous thing I’ve ever done to help someone in need would be when I raced to get a friend of mine to the hospital when a loved one of theirs was hurt.
The Next Three Days
Broke a long bout of family denial.
courage
I kept a seemingly dangerous drug addict from assaulting a senior citizen.
Looking out for someone in need...
An old friend of mine was being teased on the CTA bus as he’s gay/homosexual, and three guys came up to him, slapped him around a bit, etc… I put my Sony Walkman in my hoody and made sure it was cushioned enough in case I had to “throw down” and I defended my friend(who was actually not a friend of mine at that time), but I saw he was a young man(16 year old guy) and these guys were older and huge; so I took my own life in my hands, pulled my friend away from these jackasses who called me a “lesbo,”(wow, geniuses, no?), I basically told them to piss off, the bus driver yelled at them, we got off the bus(not on our stop, btw) and the rest is history.
