Morbidly fascinated by end-of-the-world films
Why, for the same reason we dwell on the end of everything. The “end” is the finality we all face. Why do we sit til the end of a bad movie - to see if there is any hope it will get better. Why do we go to funerals - because deep sown inside we don’t want to believe it’s over. We gotta know!
why?
cuz we are all looking for a reason to go wild
End of world
End of world films usually give way to answering the question ‘Are we alone in the universe?’ Usually, the answer is ‘No, and in fact the aliens are 2 parsecs away from reaching Earth’s atmosphere in an effort to enslave you.’ but no matter. Then agaion, ‘End of the world’ films could also be at the hands of changes in global climate; whatever the case may be, these all lead to philosophical concerns inate to our nature; our bodies want to survive, what does it all mean, what have we accomplished as a civilization, are we really no more than a mere oversized ant colony?
The question of character is an interesting thing to watch when men face their mortality.
end
We all know what comes next.
Because we're always reminded of how finite life is
There have always been end of the world stories, going back to biblical times. Our lives are short compared to other things in existence, so we will always ruminate on how the end will come.
Because
THE END IS NEAR!
sky
we obsessed with the unknown!!111
the end
its the end of the world as we know it…… its the end…
Because those movies have
Because those movies have the biggest and best special effects
End of the world
cause we all want to believe there’s someone out there besides us :-)
