Here is the plot description for “Rizzoli & Isles”:

In the streets of Boston, it takes more than understanding the mind of a killer to track down a twisted criminal. To solve these complex cases, you need to understand the science of murder. That’s why detective Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon, “Law and Order”) joins with medical examiner Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander, “Mission Impossible II”).

But these two friends don’t work alone. They’ve got back up from Jane’s rookie partner (Lee Thompson, “Flash Forward”), her seasoned former partner (Bruce McGill, “Law Abiding Citizen”) and FBI agent Gabriel Dean (Billy Burke, the “Twilight” films).

Well...

It’s not so much the catching of the crook that is the problem, it’s the holding of the crook that’s the important part - anyone can catch a crook! :)
