CHICAGO – The masterminds behind GSN’s “Late Night Liars” have sent over an exclusive clip just for HollywoodChicago.com readers, highlighting a scene from tonight’s episode of the new comedy series from Henson Alternative, a label of The Jim Henson Company. These are not your parents’ muppets.

“Late Night Liars” is a spoof of old-fashioned game shows like “Match Game,” “Hollywood Squares,” “To Tell the Truth,” and “The Gong Show.” Larry Miller stars as the host of the series in which, “Each night, two hapless human contestants face off against a panel of four celebrities who are half-sauced and telling half-truths. Whichever contestant can distinguish fact from fiction best will escape with prizes and cash - but probably not their dignity.

Check it out and tune in to “Late Night Liars” at 10pm CST on GSN on Thursday nights.

  • Trade Federation, Otherworld Theatre

CHICAGO – Theatrical satires of the Star Wars Universe are like the number of TV series the universe has wrought … too many to figure out if anything is worthwhile. But “Trade Federation” (subtitled “Or Let’s Explore Globalization Through the Star Wars Prequels”), presented by Otherworld Theatre in Wrigleyville Chicago, gets it right on.
