Here is the “Are We There Yet?” synopsis:

A new family is moving to TBS on Wednesday nights. The Kingston-Persons family is at the center of the new TBS original sitcom “Are We There Yet?”. It’s a new series based on the Revolution Studios movie of the same name. “Are We There Yet?” is executive produced by Ice Cube (“Friday” and “Barbershop”) and stars Terry Crews (“Everybody Hates Chris”) and Essence Atkins (“Half and Half”) as a newly married couple whose blended family faces the challenges of everyday life. “Are We There Yet?” premieres on Wednesday, June 2 with back-to-back episodes at 9 and 9:30 p.m. (ET/PT).

“Are We There Yet?” opens where the popular film left off with Nick (Crews) and Suzanne (Atkins) newly married. After six months, their family is beginning to show growing pains from the complexities of life as newlyweds to weathering the storm of teenage children. Work makes life all the more complicated. Former athlete Nick has sold his sports paraphernalia store and now works in information technology. Party planner Suzanne also has a hectic professional schedule.

The “Are We There Yet?” trailer can be watched now below.

I'd say...

Well I’d say communication, but a big part of the problem leading to mis-communication is the fact that famillies are not physically in touch with one another as they should. I know they say technology keeps us together, but how crazy is it to find out who your kid’s favorite band is via their web page, facebook page, Tweet, whatever instead of in person?

i would have to say just keeping the kids inline and on track has greatly affected families.

with all of the outside influences, especially the media, i know i as a parent have found this very challenging.

Blended Families

I think U.S. families still struggle with the idea of the blended family.

Most challenging aspect of the us family

The most challenging aspect of the us family would be making sure that the family stays connected and grounded when you have a two-income household. Making sure that those important values are taught in the household.
