HollywoodChicago.com on March 30, 2008 published a new interview with Chicago filmmaker Darryl Roberts on his latest documentary film “America the Beautiful,” which scrutinizes America’s obsession with beauty. Along with “America the Beautiful” in 2007, Roberts also wrote and directed “How U Like Me Now” in 1993 and “The Perfect Model” in 1998.

The narrative short “Untied Strangers,” which was in the 2008 Lake County Film Festival, was written and directed by Chicago filmmaker Nathan Adloff.

The narrative feature “Shut-Eye,” which was in the 2008 Lake County Film Festival, was created by filmmaker John Covert from the Chicago suburban area of Lake County.

The documentary feature “Deportee,” which was in the 2008 Lake County Film Festival, is the first feature from Dan Kolen and Justin Lansing, who attended Lake Forest College while making this film.

The narrative feature “Chemistry of Dating,” which was in the 2008 Lake County Film Festival, was created by Chicago filmmaker Matt Olson.

The documentary feature “Break-Up, Date,” which was in the 2008 Lake County Film Festival, was created by filmmaker Collin Souter from the Chicago suburb of Prospect Heights.
