CHICAGO – The search for the cure continues through the Chicago-based Gateway for Cancer Research, with their spectacular benefit that took place in October of 2016. Musicians and singers such as Peter Cetera, CeeLo Green, Michael Bolton and Carly Rae Jepsen were in attendance, as well as comedian Sinbad.

CHICAGO – The historic Music Box Theatre was extra fabulous on September 22nd, as Reeling2016, Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival, rolled out the Red Carpet on Opening Night for the the film “Hurricane Bianca,” featuring Bianca Del Rio (Roy Haylock), and directed by Matt Kugelman. Filmmakers Carly Usdin and Brittani Nichols of “Suicide Kale” also walked the Carpet, as well as Three Queens.

CHICAGO – One of Chicago’s most popular pop culture gatherings is the Wizard World Comic Con, and the 2016 edition is building anticipation for the weekend of August 18th through the 21st. Besides the fan costumes, vendor booths and comic book legends, Wizard World has appearances from TV and movie celebrities, highlighted by Michael J. Fox (“Back to the Future”), David Duchovny (“The X-Files”) and Princess Leia herself, the one and only Carrie Fisher.
