CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com appears on The Eddie Volkman Show on WSSR-FM (Star 96.7 Joliet, Illinois) on February 26th, 2021, reviewing the new release “Cherry,” streaming on Apple TV+ beginning on March 12th, 2021.

Tom Holland (Spider-Man in the Marvel Universe) portrays “Cherry,” a young drifter in life who finds purpose with Emily (Clara Bravo) and as an Army medic in Afghanistan. Before he ships out, he marries Emily, but suffers severe PTSD after-effects while in combat. When he comes home, a taste for the Oxy Contin drug leads to a harder addiction of heroin, and Emily joins in the indulgence. To fund their now intense addictions, Cherry takes up robbing banks.
