CHICAGO – There is an expo this weekend that is providing educational and product info for the entire Chicago filmmaking community, and every other interested party. FILMSCAPE CHICAGO will take place on September 7th and 8th, 2019, at the magnificent Cinespace Chicago Film Studios. The event itself is free, with some small fee educational panels. Filmscape Chicago advertises itself as “more than a trade show.” The two day event is a cinema and television production expo that focuses on community building, providing completely free education for technicians, film students, and local filmmakers. Industry vendors will exhibit their newest technologies on the expo floor, and industry technicians and artists will share their expertise with the audience through classes and seminars. Filmscape Chicago was founded by veteran technicians and educators working in and around the Chicagoland area with a passion for the community.
