TV News: FOX Reveals Fate of ‘Allen Gregory,’ Gives ‘24’ Movie Update

CHICAGO – FOX has confirmed what everyone expected; the animated series “Allen Gregory” starring the voice of Jonah Hill is officially cancelled. The news came today at the FOX Television Critics Association meeting and press tour event in Pasadena.

The news of “Allen Gregory” was the only hard evidence FOX was willing to give about the fate of any of their shows. The questions surrounding “Terra Nova,” “Fringe,” and “House” remain unanswered. FOX Entertainment President Kevin Reilly did say that no matter the fate of “House” the show would be given enough time to wrap things up, and that “Fringe” is losing the network money, but fans should not start the Save Our Show campaign.

Meanwhile in TV/Film news, Kiefer Sutherland told reporters that the “24” movie looks like it will start shooting in April. Sutherland didn’t go deep into details, as he was focusing more on promoting his new show “Touch,” which will be airing a premiere preview on January 25.

Finally, FOX revealed that there will be changes made for season two of “The X Factor” (though details weren’t provided) and that despite rumors saying otherwise, there will be no “Glee” spinoff.
