IGN [1] has a compendium of casting reports for the adaptation of “The Road.”

The Pittsburgh Business Times [2] reports from the Pittsburgh Film Office that Robert Duvall and Guy Pearce have joined the cast in unspecified roles.

Also, Australia’s Daily Telegraph [3] is reporting that Kodi Smit-McPhee has been cast as Viggo Mortenson’s son, one of the two main roles. Smit-McPhee is also playing a young Wolverine in the upcoming “X-Men Origins” film.
