CHICAGO – The studio for the new Nicolas Cage [1] film “Knowing [2]” has provided to HollywoodChicago.com the DVD trailer for the movie, which also stars Rose Byrne [3], Chandler Canterbury [4], Ben Mendelsohn [5], Nadia Townsend [6] and Adrienne Pickering [7].
The film, which is directed by Alex Proyas [8] (“I, Robot [9],” “The Crow [10]”), opens nationwide on March 20, 2009. The “Knowing” DVD trailer can be watched below.
Here is the plot description for “Knowing” (source [11]):
A teacher (Nicolas Cage) opens a time capsule that has been dug up at his son’s elementary school. In it are some chilling predictions – some that have already occurred and others that are about to – that lead him to believe his family plays a role in the events that are about to unfold.
