why is chicago the perfect city to be blown up

Chicago is the perfect city to be blown up in a blockbuster, because it has so many recognizable landmarks, it’s treasured for it architecture and because it just seems like no one would mess with such a old boys city like Chi-town

Chicago - the best city to blow up

Just to be able to see Chicago blown up on the screen would be totally awesome with all it has to offer (tall buildings, parks, skyline, etc.).

Transformers

Chicago is unique that it holds a lot of history that is present in its current day environment but also displays modern times.

Its city provides a great backdrop for the story and supports the message.

Blowing up ChiCity

I mean why not show Chicago some love. I love my city…it’s clean and friendly and always something to do. But you hardly see representation of it in the movies. We have skyscrapers, historic buildings, beautiful mornings and the lake!!
