CHICAGO – Fashion guru Tim Gunn is dispensing his wisdom yet again. As the 10th season of “Project Runway” winds down, Gunn has released a new book, “Tim Gunn’s Fashion Bible: The Fascinating History of Everything in your Closet.” He was recently in Naperville, Illinois, signing books at Anderson’s Bookshop.

CHICAGO – NBC’s “Fashion Star” could technically be considered the first highly-promoted infomercial on primetime TV. It didn’t even dawn on me until halfway through this annoyingly produced reality disaster that the show probably came into existence as the answer to how to advertise clothes to people who fast-forward through commercials.

CHICAGO – October 28th is the season finale of Lifetime Network’s popular “Project Runway,” As contestants Andy, Mondo and Gretchen take their final designs to New York’s Fashion Week, backstage will be the show’s mentor, the inimitable Tim Gunn. His new book is “Gunn’s Golden Rules: Life’s Little Lessons for Making It Work.”
