CHICAGO – The games have begun, and the box office numbers are ever in “The Hunger Games” favor. The new film, an adaptation of the first book in Suzanne Collins Hunger Games trilogy, set box office records all weekend, and has been estimated to earn $155 million at the box office when Sunday’s showings play themselves out. That total is good enough for number three all time at weed box offices, just behind “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” ($169.2 mil) and “The Dark Knight” ($158.4 mil).

NCM Fathom and Summit Entertainment have issued re-releases of the first three Twilight Saga films that will take place on the three Tuesdays that lead up to the release of the newest film “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1”.

This chapter will be release as two films, the first on November 18, 2011.

CHICAGO – Michael Sheen, one of the stars of last year’s Best Picture-nominated “Frost/Nixon,” has joined the cast of the “Twilight” sequel, “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon,” appearing with the already-cast Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, and Dakota Fanning in the film to be directed by Chris Weitz.

CHICAGO – ComingSoon.net went to ShoWest and posted the first image of a teaser poster that you’re likely to see all over theaters for the rest of this year, the first official artwork for the sequel to “Twilight,” “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon”.

CHICAGO – It was just a rumor yesterday but it was made official last night when Variety announced that Juan Antonio Bayona will direct the upcoming sequel to “Twilight” and “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon,” “The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse”. The third film in the Stephenie Meyer series will star Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and more.
