Michel Gondry’s childlike sensibilities would appear to be an ideal match for Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s infectious whimsicality.

CHICAGO – “The Green Hornet,” which could have been titled “The Seth Rogen Show,” is an uneven mix between a stroke of comic book genius and a self-righteous attempt at being both comedy and drama.

CHICAGO – Production has begun recently on “The Green Hornet” but not for Nicolas Cage. For months Cage has been set to star as the film’s villain, but according to Screen Crave things have gone bad. Cage has dropped out of the film when the negotiations for the star have fallen through.
